Occupational Health Services
OSMC’s Work Injury Care Center medical staff is trained in emergency and occupational medicine and provides a full range of urgent care for work-related injuries including treatment for:
- Complicated lacerations
- Finger dislocations
- Acute bone fractures
- Scalp lacerations
- Finger staple and nail foreign body removal
We also offer employers the following occupational medical services:
- Regulated drug screens (last drug screen at 4:00)
- Ergonomic consulting
- Vision screening
- DOT physicals
- Pre-placement physicals
- TB testing
- Fit-for-duty exams
- On-site employee vaccinations
A key benefit of our occupational medicine approach is direct communication with the doctor. After an initial evaluation, the doctor will call the line supervisor or other contact person to discuss the injury, treatment plan and expected return date. And, because we have lower operating costs than a hospital emergency room, and can provide more personalized attention, you have the assurance that your employees will receive excellent care quickly and cost effectively.
