A Flag Ceremony will be held on Veterans’ Day 2022, at OSMC!
The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, with the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce will hold a flag raising event on Veterans’ Day 2022.
WHAT & WHEN: To honor veterans of the armed forces, on Veteran’s Day 2022, the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center of Northern Indiana, Inc. (OSMC) with the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce will hold a flag raising ceremony featuring Miller’s Veterans Color Guard and Elkhart High School Musicians starting at 12 pm. ET, Friday, November 11, 2022. The Elkhart High School Junior ROTC will also participate.
WHERE: The ceremony will be held at the outdoor flagpole in front of the Elkhart location of the orthopedic practice, 2310 California Road, Elkhart, IN 46514. Next door to Elkhart High School.
DETAILS: In a tribute to veterans, OSMC team members, Miller’s Vets, along with students in the Elkhart High School Choir, Band and Junior ROTC will participate in a flag raising ceremony. The national anthem of the United States, “The Star‐Spangled Banner” by Francis Scott Key, will be sung, the pledge of allegiance recited, taps will be played and veterans recognized.
WHO WILL ATTEND: The entire community of Elkhart and St. Joseph counties are invited. Veterans are especially encouraged to join us! Also expected to attend are the members and staff of the Elkhart Area Chamber of Commerce, Elkhart High School students and parents, OSMC staff and physicians, visiting patients and others. Join us!
