10 Minutes Could Change the Way You Recover: MLS® Laser Treatment Is Now Available at OSMC

10 Minutes Could Change the Way You Recover: MLS® Laser Treatment Is Now Available at OSMC

A new, non-invasive approach to recovery has arrived at OSMC.

When you’re dealing with pain, inflammation or an injury, recovery doesn’t always have to mean medication, injections or surgery.

Now, there’s another option.

OSMC is proud to introduce MLS® Laser Treatment, a non-invasive treatment designed to help manage pain and inflammation while supporting the body’s natural recovery process.

Move better. Heal naturally. Get back to what you love.

And in as little as 10 minutes, you can take another step toward recovery.

What Is MLS® Laser Treatment?
MLS Laser Treatment uses targeted light energy at specific wavelengths to treat affected areas of the body. The treatment is designed to help reduce pain and inflammation, support circulation and encourage the body’s natural recovery response.

There are no injections, no medication and no surgery involved.

For most patients, treatment involves little to no sensation and requires little to no downtime.

Most sessions take approximately 10 minutes, making MLS Laser Treatment an option that can fit into an active lifestyle.

Who May Benefit From MLS Laser Treatment?
MLS Laser Treatment may be considered as part of an individualized treatment or recovery plan for conditions including:
• Joint pain
• Arthritis-related pain
• Muscle strains and sprains
• Tendon conditions
• Soft-tissue injuries
• Inflammation and swelling
• Sports and overuse injuries
• Post-operative recovery

Whether you’re trying to get back to your favorite activity, manage an ongoing condition or support recovery after an injury, your OSMC provider can determine whether MLS Laser Treatment may be appropriate for you.

What Can You Expect?
After an OSMC provider evaluates your condition and determines MLS Laser Treatment is appropriate, they will recommend a 6- or 12-treatment plan. Our team will then help you purchase and schedule your treatments.

Treatments are performed at our OSMC Granger Clinic in a comfortable setting and typically take just 10 minutes.

Most patients experience little to no sensation during treatment, with no downtime afterward. Treatments are generally scheduled multiple times per week, with the frequency and number of sessions based on your condition.

When Will You See Results?
Every patient and condition is different.

Some patients may notice changes in pain or symptoms within the first few treatments, while additional benefits may develop throughout the course of treatment. Because the effects of MLS Laser Treatment can be cumulative, a series of treatments is generally recommended rather than a single session.

Your provider will help determine the treatment plan that’s right for you.

Simple, Transparent Pricing

MLS Laser Treatment is available as a cash-pay service at OSMC:
6-Treatment Package — $450
Typically for acute conditions
12-Treatment Package — $800
Typically for chronic conditions

An evaluation is required before treatment, and treatment settings are determined by physician order.

A New Tool in the OSMC Playbook
At OSMC, we believe recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we’re continually adding options to our OSMC Playbook to help patients move better, recover smarter and stay active longer.

MLS Laser Treatment is the latest addition — providing a non-invasive option that may help manage pain and inflammation while supporting the body’s natural recovery process.

More options. More ways to recover. A treatment plan built for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does MLS Laser Treatment hurt?
Most patients feel little to nothing during treatment. It is generally a comfortable experience.

How long does treatment take?
We schedule 20 minutes for your appointment, although the actual laser treatment typically takes just 10 minutes.
The additional time allows you to get comfortable and ensures your treatment feels relaxed and unhurried.

How many treatments will I need?
Your treatment plan will be individualized based on your condition and response to treatment. A typical course may include 6-12 sessions.

When will I see results?
Some patients notice improvement after several treatments, while others may see changes over the course of treatment. Results vary based on the individual and condition.

Is MLS Laser Treatment a replacement for surgery?
No. MLS Laser Treatment is a non-invasive treatment option that may be incorporated into an overall treatment or recovery plan when appropriate.

Cash-Pay Services
MLS Laser Treatment is a cash-pay service and is generally not covered by insurance.

MLS Laser Treatment and PRP are HSA/FSA eligible, allowing eligible patients to use health savings or flexible spending account funds toward treatment.
OSMC partners with HealthMe to provide transparent, upfront pricing for cash-pay services.
