Provides skilled assistance to the surgeon in the hospital and ASC Operating Rooms. Successfully works with the OR staff to facilitate turnover of surgery rooms to maximize the efficiency of the surgical team. Requires a master’s degree in Nursing, must be licensed in the State of Indiana. Previous experience in surgical setting required.
Seeking staff Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedic clinic. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but new graduates will be considered! Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy and eligible for Indiana licensure.
Duties will include assisting patients with inquiries regarding their work. comp. benefits, collecting all information necessary to treat work related injuries, obtaining authorization and scheduling of all diagnostic testing, documenting all pertinent information regarding the patient, employer, and insurance company and entering in the computer, acting as a liaison between the patient, employer, worker’s compensation carrier, rehabilitation nurse and physician to ensure needs are being met, coordinating return-to-work and restricted work availability, Prior experience working in a medical office and solid computer experience required. Prior worker’s compensation experience preferred. Monday thru Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
This position requires 3-5 years of RN experience. Duties include assisting patients via phone with their questions and or needs and eventually cross train in the clinic. Current IN RN license and BLS is required. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, caring, compassionate, yet firm. Typical calls coming into the office are related to increased pain, RX refills, scheduling, status updates and pain management questions. Other duties include inspection reports, drug screens and wellness checks.
Duties include patient registration, patient discharge, and scheduling patient appointments. Previous experience in a medical office setting, excellent customer service and computer skills are required. Bilingual is a plus
OSMC is searching for a full-time Facility Manager at our Nappanee and Middlebury locations. The Facility Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities of the facility. Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities of the facility. Participates in financial and budget decisions. Responsible for management of the staff, materials/equipment, and building. Promotes a favorable image of the facility to patients, physicians, employers, insurance companies and the community. Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, required.
Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies. Assists facility manager with inventory. Required to perform some MA duties including but not limited to, rooming patients and autoclave instruments and maintenance. Associates or Bachelor of Science, completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current certification (AART) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CPR certification required.
