Monday-Friday with rotating start times of 7:30am-4:30pm and 8:00am-5:00pm. This person will be cross trained in all areas of medical records pertaining to forms completion (FMLA & Disability), scanning papers into patient’s medical record chart, releasing information from patients charts to the patient, other physicians’ offices, attorneys, insurance companies, hospitals, with the proper HIPPA compliant release of information forms. This person will also be answering incoming calls and doing outgoing calls to locate medical records for patients upcoming appointment. Plus, whatever is needed to be done in the medical records department. Prior medical records experience is preferred, and computer experience is required.
OSMC is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Full time (preferred) or part time. Outpatient orthopedic hand therapy a big plus but will consider new graduates.
Duties include patient registration, patient discharge, and scheduling patient appointments. Previous experience in a medical office setting, excellent
customer service and computer skills are required. Bilingual is a plus.
Provides skilled assistance to the surgeon in the hospital and ASC Operating Rooms. Successfully works with the OR staff to facilitate turnover of surgery rooms to maximize the efficiency of the surgical team. Requires a master’s degree in Nursing, must be licensed in the State of Indiana. Previous experience in surgical setting required.
Seeking staff Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedic clinic. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but new graduates will be considered! Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy and eligible for Indiana licensure.
Responsible for accurately obtaining pre-certification for all surgeries, services, and diagnostic testing and any other procedure that requires it. Prior pre-cert experience or insurance background preferred.
Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week with work hours varying depending on office location. Candidates must be patient service oriented with a pleasant personality. Travel to other offices (Middlebury, Nappanee, Elkhart, and Goshen) and prior clinical medical assisting experience is required.
Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
Prepares contract media and barium. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies especially if radiology clerk is not available. Applies casts and braces as instructed. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor of Science, completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current certification (AART) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CPR certification required.
Conduct required COVID screens at the facility point of entry. Protect privacy and dignity by keeping health information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws. Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements. Must be personable and responsible! Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent. Full time- Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. No benefits as this is a temp position.
