OSMC is proud to announce its first official athlete partnership with Ian Book — the winningest quarterback in Notre Dame football history, NFL veteran, and member of the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Team.
With a strong and engaged following, Ian brings athletic credibility and meaningful visibility to the OSMC brand. His passion for injury prevention, proactive recovery, and community connection perfectly aligns with OSMC’s mission to help people live active, pain-free lives.
“I’m really excited to partner with OSMC,” said Book. “What stood out to me right away is how much they truly care about people — not just as patients, but as individuals. They’re focused on helping people get back to what they love — whether that’s playing sports, working, or just living pain-free.”
At the heart of the partnership is a shared philosophy of personalized, collaborative care. “At OSMC, what sets them apart is simple — they listen,” Book added. “Every person is different, with unique goals and needs. The team takes time to understand what matters most to you. It’s all about collaboration — they ask, ‘What do you want to accomplish?’ and then work with you to get there.”
That same commitment extends beyond athletes to everyone in the community. “Whether you’re a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, OSMC brings that same level of care and dedication,” said Book. “I love that they’re part of this community — accessible, relatable, and transparent — delivering the right care at the right time for people every day.”
Book also emphasized OSMC’s focus on accessibility. “From walk-in clinics to the HURT app, OSMC makes it easy for people to get help right when they need it,” he said.
Now back in South Bend, Ian Book has been training daily on the Notre Dame campus, staying ready for any opportunity that may come from the NFL. In addition to his continued commitment to the game, he has taken on a new role as Director of Investor Relations for Golden Legacy, a boutique real estate firm led by fellow Notre Dame alumni. Book says the partnership with OSMC feels deeply personal: “For me, this partnership is about more than sports. It’s about helping people stay active, stay healthy, and keep doing what they love. That’s what OSMC stands for — helping you heal strong, perform better, and live your best life.”
Ian will make his first public appearance with OSMC this December during a Q&A event at the Mishawaka Fieldhouse, where he’ll join OSMC physicians to discuss sports injury prevention and recovery. Event details and registration information will be available soon at osmc.com.
