OSMC is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Willis Stevenson as its new Board President.
Dr. Stevenson joined OSMC in 2007 and has dedicated his career to caring for patients throughout the Michiana region, from local high school sidelines to factory floors. He is known for his commitment to patient education, conservative-first treatment approaches, and precise surgical care when necessary.
For more than 50 years, OSMC has delivered comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care across Elkhart and St. Joseph counties. With more than 20 providers, five convenient locations, two outpatient surgery centers, walk-in access, same-day appointments, physical therapy services, and 24/7 injury triage powered by HURT!, OSMC remains focused on making high-quality care both accessible and affordable.
As Board President, Dr. Stevenson will advance OSMC’s mission to protect independent, physician-led orthopedic care while delivering accessible, affordable, and outcome-driven solutions for the communities it serves. His leadership is guided by the values he learned growing up in a small, blue-collar town: hard work, craftsmanship, and service.
“Our vision at OSMC is simple: to create an environment where talented people can focus deeply on what matters most — delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care. By fostering a strong culture, pursuing operational excellence, and aligning with partners who share our values, we are shaping the future of musculoskeletal care in the communities we serve,” affirmed Dr. Stevenson.
OSMC also extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Jason Hix for nine years of dedicated leadership as Board President. His guidance strengthened the organization and positioned it for continued growth and long-term success.
Under Dr. Stevenson’s leadership, OSMC will continue prioritizing high-quality, patient-centered care, community-first partnerships, and value-driven solutions for both patients and employers.
