The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Revenue Specialist is responsible for multiple job duties including but not limited to handling incoming payments, calculating patient intake costs, overseeing every aspect of charge entry, and preparing claims for refiling or appeals when needed. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment which involves two facilities and be a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills and computer skills.
The Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) shall provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient results. In addition to intraoperative duties, the CSFA performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate patient care. The CSFA shall perform these functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and following appropriate laws and regulations. Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program. Graduate of a Certified Surgical First Assist program. BLS Certification required.
Performs treatments, instructs in, and advances patient home exercise programs in accordance with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care. Prior outpatient orthopedic hand therapy experience required.
Travel to other offices is required. Must be a graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program. Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Indiana.
Responsibilities include coding and processing insurance claim forms, reviewing claims for complete information, correcting, and completing forms as needed, researching claims, and entering data into the insurance claims processing system, along with preparing claims for refiling or appeal when needed. Prior experience in a medical office billing preferred.
The ideal candidate will act as an interpreter for Spanish speaking patients. Coordinates external language services and hearing-impaired services to patients. Translates English written documents into Spanish as needed. Additional projects as needed and help create and revise policies and procedures for interpreting services. Spanish Certification required.
This person will work 20 hours a week and be responsible for providing professional nursing care for surgical patients, following established standards and practices. Current IN RN license, BLS and ACLS are required.
Seeking staff Occupational Therapist for outpatient orthopedic hand clinic. Outpatient orthopedic/hand therapy experience preferred but new graduates will be considered! Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy and eligible for Indiana licensure. This position offers a $15,000 sign on bonus.
Our Elkhart Office is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedic clinic. Outpatient orthopedic experience strongly preferred but new graduates will be considered! Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy and eligible for Indiana licensure. This position offers a $15,000 sign on bonus.
The responsibilities include managing instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Must understand the procedures being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Must have the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and remain constantly vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
The Therapy Insurance Authorization Specialist must be committed to patient customer satisfaction. Supports physical and occupational therapy by their primary role being to execute proper insurance verification and authorization processes. The Therapy Insurance Authorization Specialist plays a vital role in helping the patient receive the proper coverage, care, and understand their financial obligation for attending therapy once their physician has deemed it necessary.
Duties include preparing patients for radiology procedures. Taking x-rays following established physician protocols and procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination and stock rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies. Assist facility manager with clinic inventory and supply ordering. Performs quality controls and assists in maintaining the lab equipment. Travel to other offices is required. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program. Current Indiana license as a Radiologic Technologist. Current registration with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
