We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven ASC Director to lead the operations of our high-volume, physician-led ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare leader with a proven track record of elevating ASC performance—clinical quality, financial outcomes, patient experience, and team development.

This position under minimal supervision, key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, admitting patients, collecting required patient information, maintenance of electronic medical records, managing incoming calls, and other administrative duties as requested. This role does require opening and closing the office daily within the following work schedule.  The hours for this role are to work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 630 a.m. until last patient out of the ASC waiting area and could consist of working four ten hour days with Tuesday off.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Revenue Specialist is responsible for multiple job duties including but not limited to handling incoming payments, calculating patient intake costs, overseeing every aspect of charge entry, and preparing claims for refiling or appeals when needed. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment which involves opening and closing the Elkhart facility and be a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills and computer skills.

Position Summary: The Business Office Assistant is responsible for reviewing, processing, and issuing patients and insurance refunds in an accurate and timely manner. Assists the ASC & Revenue Integrity Manager with bundle related work, and works with patients on surgery prepays for both the facility and provider. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned.)

The Clinical Therapy Technician will support the physical/occupational therapists and therapy assistants by preparing treatment areas, materials and supplies under the supervision of licensed therapist(s) including but not limited to documentation, appointment scheduling, setting up equipment, demonstrating proper use of equipment, sterilization of equipment, monitoring and maintaining supply inventory, applying dressings and hot or cold pack and performing opening and closing duties. Bilingual skills are a plus! This role will be working 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. Travel to other offices is required.

The Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) shall provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient results. In addition to intraoperative duties, the CSFA performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate patient care. The CSFA shall perform these functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and following appropriate laws and regulations. Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist program. Graduate of a Certified Surgical First Assist program. This position is working full time at OSMC and must travel to other office locations. Site flexibility is required. Job duties include assisting all physicians and clinical staff with patient care, procedural, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Maintains Pain Management Clinic function’s and efficiency by assisting managers and peers with daily needs of the clinic. Travel to other offices is required. Bilingual a plus!

The ideal individual would need to travel between our office locations in Elkhart, Goshen, Granger, Nappanee and Middlebury, Indiana. This position will be placed within our Elkhart California Road Corporate office but must be able to travel to any OSMC location. This position will report directly to the Practice Physicians with a dotted line reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) refers to a healthcare professional, including a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, who has advanced training and can provide an advanced level of medical tasks independently and collaborates with a physician. The APP will assess and treat patients using advanced clinical knowledge and skills to identify abnormal conditions, order and analyze diagnostic images, educate on pre and post operative care, diagnose health problems, develop and implement treatment plans, evaluate patient outcomes, and collaborate with or refer to physicians in the practice and community, as well as assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures, wound closure and casting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in an Ortho setting with a Master's Degree from an accredited (ARC-PA) Physician Assistant program, a Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), State licensure as a Physician Assistant, a Controlled substance license and DEA registration, CSR Prescriptive Authority, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or the following Nurse Practitioner educational requirements of a Master's Degree from an accredited (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program, Certification as an Adult or Family Advanced Practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Nurse Practitioner Credentialing Center (NPCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), State licensure as an APRN, Controlled substance license and DEA registration, CSR Prescriptive Authority, and Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Seeking staff Occupational Therapist for outpatient orthopedic hand clinic. Outpatient orthopedic/hand therapy experience preferred but new graduates will be considered! Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy and eligible for Indiana licensure. 

PTA provides dynamic, one-on-one musculoskeletal therapy under the supervision of experienced physical therapists in a busy outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice. In addition, must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program and licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapy assistant in Indiana. Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus, but new graduates with special interest in outpatient ortho will be considered. Travel to other offices is required.

Job duties include performing and participating in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization and storage of surgical instrumentation and equipment. Two years of prior experience is preferred. With this role we do have two opportunities one on a part time basis and one on a full time basis working in our Granger ASC.

The responsibilities include managing instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Must understand the procedures being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Must have the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and remain constantly vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Our Therapy Insurance Authorization Specialist will be working with programs like NextGen, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams.  The Specialist will handle executing proper insurance verification and authorization processes for both the physical and occupational therapy departments. The ideal person will be required to verify whether a therapy appointment can occur and obtain all necessary information to complete the proper coverage, care, and financial obligation for attending therapy once their physician has deemed it necessary.  This job requires a strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve as you work alone to determine insurance eligibility, pre-certification and verification processes for our Therapy Department.

Our Specialist will need to communicate with and set up all processes and/or updates with all external insurance company reps.  You must have previous medical office insurance verification and authorization experience to apply for this position as well as a GED/High school diploma to apply.
